"Thirty Years of Adventures: Art and Artist from 1979" is a bilingual (Chinese/English) publication based on the exhibition "RESHAPING HISTORY: Chinart from 2000 to 2009". The publication is divided into four parts: the 1980s: modernist concepts and practices, the 1990s: postmodernism and its development, the 2010s: art, capital and their institutional changes and "RESHAPING HISTORY" Exhibition of participating artists and artworks. The art of these thirty years has always changed and developed in the process of problems, conflicts and solutions. This is an adventure history in the field of thoughts, concepts and even ideologies. Although the facts that occurred in the field of art are just a part of China's facts in various fields of politics, economy and culture, when writing history, all the issues in those adventures are basic historical facts that we need to observe. By recording and organizing historical facts from 1979 to 2009, this book provides basic physical evidence and guidance for subsequent artistic development.
