News | The Deputy Consul General Visits the Lumière Gallery

On the afternoon of May 5, 2024, Mr. Julian Lasinger, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Germany in Chengdu, together with his companions, visited the Lumière Gallery for cultural exploration, engaging in discussions with Dr. Lü Peng(吕澎), the Art Director of the gallery.

The Lumière Gallery is committed to establishing itself as a highly influential local gallery in the southwestern region of China. The gallery actively seeks diverse collaborations with young artists, aiming to explore contemporary art pieces worthy of collection with a unique perspective. It has invited Dr. Lü Peng to serve as the Art Director and Mr. Li Guohua as the full-time curator.

Lü Peng accompanied Julian to visit the gallery showcasing the exhibition titled 'Definite Images, Uncertain Identity: Wang Zifan', engaging in discussion and exchange. Dr. Lü presented his published work 'Contemporary Art in 21st-Century China' to Mr. Julian as a gift. Subsequently, the two gentlemen posed for a commemorative photograph in front of the artwork 'One-Day Journey of the Furry Ball II' by the young artist Wang Zifan.
