The exhibition was academically hosted by Professor Lü Peng. Through the paintings of Cao Jingping, the exhibition attempts to provide the audience with an entry point to consider the question: Does the independence of painting language or ‘rhetoric’ really have to be presented through abstract compositions? Or does the composition of an image always use the depiction of visual illusion?
