"Artists in Art History [Case Studies of Artists in Art History and Art Criticism] " compiles my phased research findings on 23 Chinese contemporary artists. I believe that focusing on artists as subjects of study, conducting case studies, can effectively stimulate continuous understanding and contemplation of the specific society in question. Consequently, the case studies in the anthology primarily examine and analyze the social, political, economic, and unique personal experiences related to the subjects under investigation. I trust that readers can, through individual cases, reexamine and scrutinize the landscape of Chinese contemporary art history.
