As the chief curator, I orchestrated the exhibition "Dimension of Civilization," which officially opened on August 8, 2015. Serving as the inaugural exhibition of the Yinchuan Contemporary Art Museum, it signifies a fundamental stance that cultural exchanges among different backgrounds are frequent and direct in the era of globalization. This also reminds us to focus on the diversity and issues in the process of cultural exchange. Therefore, the inaugural exhibition consists of three sections: 19th-century Chinese Western-style paintings, ancient Chinese maps, and contemporary art. This structure presents a comprehensive framework encompassing exchanges between ancient and modern civilizations from both China and abroad.
